International Fundraising & Communication Director

Based in Geneva



In close collaboration with the International Direction in Geneva and the International Board, you will manage all the specificities of this role, including Fundraising, Communication, Media Relations, Market research, events and marketing connected projects, the optimization of tools, support and advice for the regional offices as well as the relations with the ambassadors of the Organization.


This new position requires the confirmed professional skills of a fundraising and communication specialist, with a minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar post within NGOs, social enterprises or governments, in an international context including the management of multicultural teams decentralized in regions. An experience in the development of qualitative communication programs and their contents on any distribution channels is essential, as well as an experience in planning and management of international transversal projects. A professional experience in Asia and Africa will be a considerable asset, ideally in the environment of social development.


In complement in the numerous professional skills required, we seek a candidate passionate about the development, innovative, creative, flexible and reactive. Endowed with an analytical critical and constructive spirit, you are sure of your choices but remain open, attentive and respectful of the knowledge and the opinions of the others. With great interpersonal skills, you express yourself easily, orally and in writing when the cause enthuses you; you know how to argument, defend, plead, promote! You like sharing your knowledge in supporting and accompanying the evolution of the skills of your colleagues and collaborators and your "can do the most with the least" is one of your strengths! Fluent in French and English, the knowledge of a third language would be an asset. Regular travel is be expected for this position.
